There is only one place that I would consider buying my rock and roll jewellery from and one place alone – The Great Frog!
When I heard that Motorhead had teamed up with them for a collaboration – I was excited to see the end pieces and as always, they are nothing short of masterpieces with incredible detail which can be seen in the below video.
The Great Frog made its name catering to a niche clientele of rockers, bikers and those on the edge of the mainstream. Established in 1972, the company was a refreshing change from the 60s revolution which persisted in London.
They have designed bespoke pieces for many international names from the fashion and music industries, including rock legends Metallica, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Slash and Aerosmith.
Each visit to the website always causes my credit card to scream in pain as I always want every piece they make but my personal favourites are the small skull and catacomb skull rings…just amazing!
Every piece of jewellery sold within the walls of The Great Frog is hand carved and crafted on site and it is no wonder that wearers of the brand include Johnny Depp, Kate Moss and Oasis to name a few.
As well as the original store in Soho, The Great Frog has also expanded to include stores in New York and Los Angeles, though all pieces continue to be handcrafted in Soho.
