Cancer Bats announce postponements to Australian tour dates

Soundwave Touring & Cancer Bats are truly sad to announce the postponement of the band’s tour scheduled for early July.

The band have explained the need to postpone the dates and we love them for their honesty and their love for the fans as they have asked to ensure we reward their fans for their patience and understanding.

In good news we can confirm that the band will instead return for Soundwave 2013 which means they will now be performing in all 5 state capitals.

New video from Cancer Bats – Road Sick

Cancer Bats upcoming album, Dead Set on Living, isn’t out for more than a month, but we’ve already got the second music video from the disc.

Following “Old Blood,” the amazing Toronto band have just released a clip for the track “Road Sick.”

The video for this melodic song, which has some blues rock undertones, is a jokey affair that combines some goofy, Village People-worthy costumes (fisherman, biker, soldier, hick) with corny green screen effects. Eventually the band members meet up at a bar and form a band together.

22 new bands announced for Download Festival

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL has announced a further 22 incredible additions to its celebratory 10th anniversary line-up, including Corey Taylor, Dropkick Murphys, Cancer Bats, Rise to Remain and Saxon to name a few.

They join The Prodigy, Metallica and Black Sabbath for the greatest weekend in the rock calendar on 8-10 June 2012.

One of metal’s modern heroes, Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor is confirmed for his first solo acoustic performance at Download. Following the release of his acclaimed book Seven Deadly Sins, and a one off address at the Oxford Union, Corey has emerged as one of rock’s most engaging ambassadors.
