A handful of very lucky US garage-owners won the chance to host Foo Fighters at their very own homes for a one-off series of live concerts as part of a Blackberry-sponsored contest that ran back in April.

Footage from the ‘Garage Tour’ has now been made into a 40 minute documentary that charts the Foos’ garage-to-garage charge across North America.

The band played the intimate gigs to competition winners and 50 of their friends across the US in April.

Weak as a kitten was pretty much how I would of described myself after the Sonisphere weekend but no rest for the wicked as it was time to pick myself back up and get ready to see a once in a lifetime show – The Foo Fighters at the Roundhouse, Camden.

When this gig was announced I was so excited – after missing them perform at Oxegen I was gutted, but thankfully this gig saved me from flying all over the place to see them.

They were hands down the highlight act of this year’s iTunes festival.

Today the Foo Fighters released a brillaint video for the single “Walk,” which is inspired by the 1993 Michael Douglas movie Falling Down.

Walk is the second single taken from the number 1 album ‘Wasting Light’ (my favorite album of this year yet – I still can’t go a day without listening to it!)

Also on other news from the band – Back and Forth, which chronicles the band’s entire career, will get its iTunes release on June 7. Then on June 14, the DVD will be available everywhere including 35 minutes of extra footage.

The Foo Fighters will release their feature-length documentary Back and Forth on June 6 as a digital iTunes release and a DVD and Blu-ray release on June 13.

The film, directed by Academy Award-winner James Moll, opened on April 5 in select US theaters, April 7 in the UK.

The line-up has changed considerably over the past 16 years they have been together and the group have decided to unveil the truth behind the fall outs in the new documentary.

No subjects were off limits during the recording, although Grohl spoke about how it was still hard to speak about the departure of the band’s first drummer William Goldsmith. “That’s a touchy subject, one that we’d never really talked about before,” Grohl admits.
