Randy Blythe Has Been Released From Custody

Blabbermouth have reported that LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe was released from custody after spending more than a month at a Prague, Czech Republic prison on manslaughter charges.

Blythe was arrested at the Prague airport on June 27 and was accused of shoving a local fan off the stage during LAMB OF GOD’s May 2010 concert in the city. The man, who is said to have stormed the stage three times during the show, reportedly suffered a brain hemorrhage that resulted in his death nearly a month later.

After the court doubled Blythe’s bail last month from about $200,000 to about $400,000, the prosecutor once again filed a complaint against the singer’s release.

GWAR Frontman Shows His Support For Randy Blythe

Lamb of God singer D. Randall “Randy” Blythe, 41, has appeared in a Czech courtroom on Saturday for a hearing connected to the death of a fan at one of the band’s shows in 2010.

The singer was arrested last week
 at the airport in Prague, where his Grammy-nominated band was scheduled to perform at the Czech Republic capital’s Rock Cafe.

Authorities charged him in connection with an alleged incident that resulted in a concert goer’s death two years ago.
