Lady Gaga Brings Her Born This Way Ball To Dublin

Last night seen Lady Gaga‘s current artistic ambition ‘The Born This Way Ball’ land in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.

Support on the night came from Gaga’s longtime performance partner and DJ, LADY STARLIGHT, who had been confirmed as a special guest DJ for all concert dates in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

Also on support on the night was The Darkness, who are currently busy supporting ‘Hot Cakes’. I have always had a soft spot for the band and have great memories of numerous clubs, pubs and house parties with ‘Permission To Land’ as the soundtrack to those times and was over the moon when I heard that the band had reformed and are stronger and better than ever. The band were brilliant last night and on great form.

For over twenty five years, the band from Brazil has been delivering a brutal mix of metal, hardcore, thrash, punk and tribal that could hardly be more intense or more passionate.

Red Hot Chili Peppers review, Croke Park, Dublin

Anyone that has ever read reviews from this site will know that I more than likely never give a bad review to any band as I like to support that artists that I love. I spend alot of my time and money following the ones that I am interested in but tonight I can do nothing to avoid giving a bad review to the Red Hot Chili Peppers in Croke Park.

I can’t stress to you how much it hurts me to give this band a bad review – I am truly devastated to have to give this kind of review to the RHCP’s but after tonight I feel that there is no other choice!

When this gig was announced I was over the moon at the chance to see the Chili Peppers in Croke Park taking that it is such a historical and memorable musical venue. I had perviously seen them each time they had played Ireland since the release of ‘Californication’ and always ranked them as one of the most amazing live bands on the planet.
