The Rolling Stones Add Second Hyde Park Date

AEG and The Royal Parks have today announced that The Rolling Stones will be giving UK fans ‘One More Shot’ to see them live in concert this summer.

The band are set to play a second London Hyde Park concert on Saturday 13 July as part of Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park.

The Rolling Stones’ first Hyde Park show on Saturday 6 July sold out within minutes of going on sale last week.

Airbourne Added To Splendour In The Grass 2013 Line Up

While speaking to Triple M, Airbourne singer Joel O’Keeffe said they have a lot of shows booked this year… but they will be back for Australia’s premiere music festival.

“We’ll be back in Australia for Splendour In The Grass and a few other shows, I think,” he said.

Airbourne will be showcasing songs from their new album Black Dog Barking, which is out May 20.

Iron Maiden and Rammstein Confirmed for Download Festival 2013

Yesterday, Iron Maiden were announced that they will headline Download Festival on Saturday 15 June 2013.

Download celebrated its 10th anniversary this year with a sell out event headlined by The Prodigy, Metallica and Black Sabbath.

Maiden will be bringing their triumphant “Maiden England” tour to Donington Park on the 25th Anniversary of their first headline performance at the legendary home of rock in 1988 when an astounding 107,000 fans turned out to see their spectacular “Seventh Son” show, still the highest ever attendance there.

Metallica The Offspring and Blink 182 for Soundwave Festival 2013

So the Soundwave 2013 line-up has been announced.

Today’s announcement has confirmed Metallica, The Offspring on top of the already confirmed appearance of Blink 182 for the growing festival.

Other bands confirmed are Paramore, Sum 41, Stone Sour and Cancer Bats to name a few.
