Lower Than Atlantis and Passenger for Hard Rock Calling 2013

Hard Rock Calling today announced that Lower Than Atlantis, Jack Savoretti and Passenger will be joining headliners Kasabian and Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band in what will be the first shows at this iconic venue since the London 2012 Games.

Hard Rock Calling has fully established itself as one of the UK’s must see outdoor music events. Soundgarden Dublin Date for European Tour

This is the best news that could of come in on a Monday (that and a new episode of Game of Thrones later this evening!) but Soundgarden have announced dates in Ireland and the UK for this September.

Any regular reader of the site will be aware of my OBSESSION with Soundgarden and how happy I was to finally get to see them at Download Festival and also at Hard Rock Calling in London.

The band have added four shows in the UK & Ireland to their September European tour.

Bruce Springsteen – Hard Rock Calling

The headline slot for the second day of Hard Rock Calling was the legendary Bruce Springsteen.

Always an incredible live act – he did not leave the crowd disappointed tonight.

He took to the stage just after 7.30 pm (30 minutes after he was due on stage) and treated the crowd to an amazing 29 song set.

Soundgarden reign supreme at Hard Rock Calling

The rain may have settled for longer than expected but Soundgarden brought the house down at this year’s Hard Rock Calling.

The rumours that the event was going to be called off due to the condition of the ground has been ruining my week on the run up to the festival.

I was nervous getting to the grounds expecting a complete wash out but due to the staff’s hard work over the past week – the ground was well prepared and although there was mud…it was nothing that a good pair of wellies wouldn’t overcome.

Only one week to go to Soundgarden, Bruce Springsteen and many more at Hard Rock Calling

With only one week to go until London’s Hyde Park opens its gates for one of the most rocking weekends in the music calendar, Live Nation and Hard Rock International today announced the final few acts at Hard Rock Calling 2012 as well as onsite facilities for what will be an incredible weekend of live music.

Hard Rock Calling takes place 13-15 July and is headlined by Soundgarden, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band and Paul Simon.

In an exciting addition, US rockers RedWhite and Blues join the Hard Rock Calling bill. Formed from the ashes of groups Skin and Jagged Edge, the band have recently wowed crowds touring with Whitesnake and Steel Panther. The lineup for the Amex Bandstand and Bella Union stages has also been announced, showcasing some of the best in new music.
