Black Sabbath Confirm European Tour

Black Sabbath have confirmed six UK shows in December as part of their European tour in support of new album 13.

They’ll appear in London, Belfast, Sheffield, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham at the end of the year, following the release of their first record with Ozzy Osbourne since 1978.

The band announced the new album artwork earlier in the week which is featured in the video below.

Rammstein – Mein Land

Till Lindemann and crew have released the video to the single ‘Mein Land’.

“Mein Land” takes the band back to a 1960′s Southern California beach party with the standard women in bikinis, later turning into a nighttime, fire-filled, fight club.

The video was created by the renowned Swedish director Jonas Åkerlund who has previously worked with Metallica, Satyricon, Ozzy Osbourne and The Prodigy.

Sabbath Sunday at Download 2012

So the second announcement has been made for Download 2012 and I think it is the news that everyone was hoping to hear – the original line-up of Black Sabbath – Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Ioomi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward will headline a night at the festival.

Not only confirmed that they are to reform and will be embarking on a world tour next year – the band are going to release a new album.

With both Metallica and Black Sabbath announced it seems that Download is the festival to beat for the line-up in 2012.

Recorded at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire, UK and Brighton Electric Studios in Brighton, UK, the 11-track album was co-produced by singer/songwriter Biff Byford and Toby Jepson (Little Angels).
