Over the weekend I noticed that this line up was starting to pop up on forums across the web.
At first I thought it was just someone listing their dream line up (it is one of mine for sure).
Fresh from preforming two warm up dates in Belfast and Dublin – Def Leppard took to the stage to headline Friday at Download. It’s been two years since they were on the Download stage and all members of the band have spoken about their love of the festival.
While there are many things the band have been criticised for – a lack of showmanship or sense of spectacle are not among them. Showing off the stage that will be used for the ‘Mirrorball’ tour – the band did not disappoint the crowd. They are tighter than I have ever seen them play and it was a great night.
The set was a run through of the bands greatest hits to support the new album live ‘Mirrorball’ which is out now.
