Weak as a kitten was pretty much how I would of described myself after the Sonisphere weekend but no rest for the wicked as it was time to pick myself back up and get ready to see a once in a lifetime show – The Foo Fighters at the Roundhouse, Camden.

When this gig was announced I was so excited – after missing them perform at Oxegen I was gutted, but thankfully this gig saved me from flying all over the place to see them.

They were hands down the highlight act of this year’s iTunes festival.

After reading details of how Josh Homme nearly died on an operating table after a knee operation went wrong – it is great to hear that the Queens Of The Stone Age will play London in the London Roundhouse on May 17th. Tickets will go on sale on February 25th.

The almighty Queens Of The Stone Age will be touring a specially themed show in which they will play their self-titled debut album in its entirety, B-sides from that era and more and that tour will be visiting London.

The band have given no other dates as of yet. Hopefully they will make some UK festival appearances this summer.
