It’s my favourite time of year – my tent has been aired, my rucksack is packed with the essentials with also the additional must haves – baby wipes, head torch (purely comical when drunk and acts a temp strobe light), water, batiste dry shampoo and of course BEER!

It is 2 more sleeps before the Sidesixx crew descend on the Download festival grounds and we couldn’t be more excited even though the news of rain on the Friday and Saturday is not something that I want to hear.

I myself have been going to Download since 2009 and it has become one of my top 3 festivals to go to each year.

I just wanted to put a post up to all the Sixx.A.M, Motley Crue and Nikki Sixx fans that have liked and commented on the article that I wrote last night regarding Nikki and Facebook.

Never in a million years would I of thought that something I wrote would ever be noticed by Nikki so I would like to thank all the fans who re-posted the article and brought it to his attention. I still can’t believe that it happened. I literally fell out of my bed when I seen it this morning. Also a huge sorry to my mates who I woke up at 6am to scream down the phone that this had happened.

I have been a massive fan of Motley Crue since I was a kid and a search within the site will bring up many posts regarding Nikki or the band. I have been lucky enough to of seen them live 3 times so far in my life and I am currently planning a trip to Pittsburgh to see them in July.
